Always good,good service

$80 for Nasty precooked food just reheated. 5 meals + 2 sushi rolls ready in 20min. Table lined with takeout. Beef hibachi reheated beef & over cooked veggies, origami chicken great flavor son said it was chewy & hard, coconut curry chicken was gross. Sushi rolls tasted warm & were mushy.

Beware of the treatment, and then the bullies that will appear if you complain about the quality and the treatment at the same door. So they told me, "get out of my restaurant" and while I was already outside, two cars with big men and an intimidating attitude appeared.

This is one of my favorite sushi places. It is down the street, the sushi is always fresh and delicious! They have fantastic prices and lunch specials. Highly recommend

The worst place in Hillsborough for sushi, the environment is so stinky and conjusted, the order takes 1 hour to come and always short of employee, the receptionist who claims to be the owner Danny, is so rude and arrogant to people and customers,I dont go there any more nor suggest anyone to go or order online, its nasty and dirty kitchen what i understood being there in the environment!!

Good bye Scorched Earth...Origami Sushi is gone ladies and gents. They are a new Sushi Restaurant and a must visit spot. Bitter sweet emotions to the new menu.

Japanese food at this spot - very tasty. got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. the service here is outstanding. the place has a cool feel to it. kinda of like a place in houston that i enjoyed.

For the last 3-4 years, I have been coming to this place. Unfortunately it is much less now than it was 2 years ago because I no longer work nearby, but today I discovered that they are on Door Dash so I ordered them to be delivered! Oh how I've missed my delicious bagel rolls and miso soup and salad. The lunch special is a STEAL. I bought 2 rolls and soup and salad and spent $13 (not including tip, delivery fees, etc.). Always yummy and always affordable. Highly, highly recommend this place. I will continue to order.

Food was good the only reason I'm givia 4 star review its just because the costumer service needs work and the takeout team needs to pay more attention to the presentation and the condiments that come with sushi like the ginger and Wasabi there was barely any (it was a pickup order B.T.W.)

They were SO rude. Went to them for help because they weren't answering their phone after I realized half my order was missing from my door dash delivery. They said they put it in the bag and told me to move to the side. When the next customer came up, the "Boss," as it read on my receipt, said "you're right on time to pick up order, something you couldn't have done if someone was standing in the way." He was referring to me. I don't think that is being very professional coming from the "boss."

Consistently amazing sushi! We get delivery a few times a month and it’s always fresh and wonderful.

Ordered from Door Dash. Got the Chirashi. Contained inedibly large honking chunks of sashimi. Ruined it. See photo for size of just one piece of tuna. I forced myself to eat some because of the price and my hunger, but by the time I got to the salmon (my favorite), I actually threw up after eating the first piece. The size made the texture unbearable. Never seen anything like it in all my years of eating Japanese food.

Overpriced for quality not quantity.. The rice seemed mushy, not sticky. Extremely large pieces unlike most. Didn't have that fresh taste you expect, seemed like everything was bathed in whatever sauce was on the description for each sushi. I spent over $50 for three rolls and got a free appetizer sushi ball, mostly krab salad, that was very fresh.

Expected the quality of the food to be much higher for what it’s priced for!! Located by the Publix but food would not recommend.... (I took my order to go) Haven’t tried sushi though.

I've been getting Origami delivered through partner apps for a while but I finally popped inside to get takeout since I was nearby. The food is always delicious and fresh and even when it gets delivered, it's nice and hot. I also appreciate that they're being safe and cautious and not allowing dine in just yet. I highly recommend their tempura, I usually get the chicken and veggie. I also recommended them to a coworker today who got it for lunch and he thanked me because the food is delicious and he got A LOT of it! Will definitely be doing pickup again soon.

I want to give this place 5 stars but I also want you to know that I am a real reviewer who takes this action seriously. It's a great sushi shop, Otigami. They held a very traditional approach to the menu and to the food they serve and I totally respect that period when we had walk in service, everything had an incredible look - they took pride in the art of presentation and flavor combinations. With curbside pick up, I see they respect my health and their own staff welfare and I wanna come here more often. When I ordered the Volcano roll, the flavor was on spot but I'm used to it having crab tumbling down a mound of sushi pieces as though it were Volcano lava.... They have a different style and I missed the old style. Spicy tuna hand roll was on spot and I would encourage anyone who loves food to taste their avocado bomb... It comes with 2 pieces but you should order to if you plan to share because they really are tasty. If you're coming from the West, past the plaza and turn it the light where there is the Wendy's in come in the side of the shopping center. It makes getting in-and-out so much easier. I look forward to a time when I can sit in this restaurant again and enjoy the beauty of their food, But until then, I will eat it at home tash I'm always too hungry to take the time to set up my plate like they would - perhaps they could set up a video on YouTube that encourages us to do that as specially menu item... A decorative sauces in a small Container and I can apply them like they do in the restaurant to my own plates.... It is true that presentation makes a big difference but the flavor of sushi and my friends eating a with me make it so that it's still a special treat without the ambience of this slice of culture offering table service. I'm going to come back soon and try other menu items, But I usually stick to a few select choices to satisfy cravings. They also do a good fried rice and tempura.

The timing and delivery via Doordash were excellent. I ordered 4 different sushi rolls, all of which contained avocado. The avocado in all of the rolls were not yet ripe, so they were very hard and had minimal flavor. Then in the area where you write in any "extra requests" I asked specifically for extra wasabi and soy sauce and only received the bare minimum, actually less than. I received the same amount for the 4 rolls as would normally be given for an order of just one roll. Finally, the menu on the Google maps page left much to be desired. There were sushi rolls that had no description as to what fillings they contained.

If I could give them negative stars I’d give them -20 . My experience from the moment I walked through the door I felt a very nasty energy from The man and woman who run the place. They spoke very nasty to me like I was nothing maybe because of the color of my skin, i dont know . I ignored it and I asked for a menu where then he proceeded to mumbled under his breath and point in the corner. As I’m reading the menu I asked the woman for details about a roll I wanted to order and she was very short almost Like it bothered her to speak to me. With everything going On in the World right now with COVID-19 and people being laid off you would think that they would be happy to serve me because I am willing to spend money that I have in their establishment but this was not the case .walking through their door made me feel like nothing . I was judged from the moment I walked in origami sushi and I have no clue why. they probably do have a good Sushi but now I would never know because I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin standing in front of those people that i would never go back. So I decided to leave and as I’m leaving the man is standing outside smoking a cigarette and I tell him that they have poor service and he mocks me this then In raged me but Instead of going off on the man like I wanted to I decided to leave a review. I’m not coming on here to tell anyone not to come here only to give you insight on their characters
